After completing several modules of our blended learning Leadership course, footballer Alexandre Pasche gives us his impressions of the course, and more specifically of the “Communication” module. He also talks about the course format we offer at Swiss Connect Academy.
“I’ve been won over by the blended learning format, which gives me a great deal of autonomy to work and the possibility of adjusting my working hours to suit my highly variable training schedule.
I also appreciated the classroom teaching method, which is above all based on practice. All the theory studied in blended learning is applied in a systematic way through concrete cases of management and relationship management within different types of company.
Course planning and exam preparation are ideal for tackling the module exams with confidence. If I can draw a parallel with communication in professional sport and in business management, the issues are the same and the solutions are the same. It’s just that sport is a more irrational and unpredictable world. The strong emotional charges it can generate lead to disagreements and conflicts on an extremely regular basis. The exchange between team-mates and technical staff is often direct and frontal. It’s therefore interesting for me to learn about certain communication methods that are applied in other types of industry in order to prepare for my post-sports career”.
