For the first time, Swiss Connect Academy is training a top athlete in Leadership! We are delighted to start a collaboration with the professional footballer Alexandre Pasche. The 31 year old from Lausanne has been playing in major stadiums since 2007 and since 2020 for Neuchâtel Xamax as a midfielder. At the same time, Alexandre started his training course in October 2022 at Swiss Connect Academy. This is the training leading to the federal certificate of specialist in team management. This training includes two certificates: a ASFC certificate in Leadership and a ASFC certificate in Management. He has started the ASFC Leadership course, which includes preparation for the exams and will end in November 2024.
His interest in Leadership and Management led him to our training school to follow the Leadership course in blended learning. This format, which combines numerous and diverse online contents, gathered on a learning platform, and face-to-face days, seems perfectly compatible with the life of a professional athlete of this footballer.
Indeed, as Alexandre told us, this format gives him a lot of freedom in the organisation of his training, while providing him with the necessary support during each of the modules making up the training. The footballer can therefore learn where and when he wants, which seems to be very advantageous in a very active life, punctuated by training and busy with travel.
In addition, the contents of the modules offered in the Leadership course, such as “Self-awareness”, “Communication”, “Personal management”, “Team leadership” and “Conflict management” will allow the athlete to create parallels with his personal and professional life.
We will have the pleasure of accompanying Alexandre throughout his training course in order to get his impressions on the different modules and on his overall learning experience.
Finally, thanks to the exam preparation module offered by SCA, which he has chosen to include in his curriculum, he will be able to follow additional courses and webinars to help him pass and obtain the ASFC Leadership Certificate.
